Green Corridor Volunteers [+HGVT]
The Green Corridor Volunteer Group involves young people from all walks of life – some of them have been referred to us by another organization, while others have found us themselves and signed up to get involved.

Whether you know what you want to get out your volunteering experience, or really aren’t sure yet, we invite you to come along and see what volunteering is like.
The activities taking place on the day you volunteer will vary, but are likely to include things such as:
- tree planting
- planting bulbs or other smaller plants
- scrub bashing
- clearing areas for new growth
- bird box building
- biological surveys
- rights of way work (such as gates, stiles and way-marker posts)

The volunteer steering group is made up of young people who have been involved and who feed back on their experiences.
Join in to learn new skills, gain experience for your CV and have a day out making a difference in your area.

“I have found the contribution that Heathrow Green Volunteers has made invaluable. They came along at a time when I really needed a boost of volunteer support and their enthusiasm and commitment has been very encouraging. We need more groups like this in our area!”
– Sarah Leedham, Minet Country Park
