At Green Corridor we run programmes that can help young people who struggle in mainstream education, to gain confidence, life skills and social support, alongside national recognised qualifications.
Through land based engagement we help to unlock the potential that exists inside all young people but is often the additional skills learnt that can promote a more promising future in life, education and employment.
Our small group sizes of differing ability, skill and age allow for young people to develop their skills at their own pace, while supporting and often guiding others. Our welcoming safe environment and staff help to support and develop each young person to look to the future they would like. Our qualified multi-disciplinary team provide individualized learning plans, 1:1s, trainee progress reviews and parents evenings. While our qualified Horticultural tutors guide the learners through their qualification with additional learning support, no written work and trips to places such as The Causeway Parkland and Kew gardens. Each learner will also have the opportunity to be involved in activities such as Cooking, CV workshops and Youth Steering Groups and designed to develop social skills, confidence and self-belief.
