The Board of Trustees consists of a range of volunteers who are responsible for the governance of the organisation.
The trustees approve all major business decisions and resource allocations and delegate day to day operations to the chief executive, who is held to account for these activities.
In practice, the trustees work in conjunction with the Chief Executive and other senior staff in developing the direction and long term strategy of Green Corridor in pursuit of our charitable aims.
The trustees meet with chief executive and other senior staff on a regular basis to agree and monitor operational plans and financial performance. .
In addition, trustees may be called upon to provide support and counsel to executive staff. The Trustees also formally review both executive and organisation performance annually.
Green Corridor seeks new members of all ages with a variety of skills to join our Board of Trustees. While we are particularly interested in people who have experience in working with young people and volunteering as well as education or social work, we are also interested in people who support our aims and would like to contribute to our progress and success in the future.
