FREE Online Cooking Sessions
We are so excited to announce that we will be running FREE online cooking sessions led by our highly experienced and passionate Head of Catering Tracey! These sessions will be for everyone and there will be something for every person, whether you're a new mum, learning to cook or just want to have some fun! You can get the whole family involved, there is no age or ability limits and the recipes will be different every time!
As you will need to provide your own ingredients, for all those that attend and complete their first session, a £10 supermarket voucher will be given to you if you live in Hillingdon, Ealing or Hounslow* to help cover the cost, thanks to the BIG Lottery Fund!
They will run twice a month on Monday evenings from 17:00 - 18:00 online via Zoom. We provide you with the recipes and the follow along instructions, all you need is the ingredients and a phone, tablet or laptop with WiFi and a camera that you can have in the kitchen!
We are ensuring there are sessions for everyone so we are varying the recipes from eating on a budget, healthy recipes for infants and vegetarian meals!
There will be more information to follow so keep your eyes peeled on this space! If you would like to make any theme suggestions or have a question about this new exciting prospect, then please drop us a message!
*our grant from the BIG Lottery is funding community groups in Hillingdon, Ealing & Hounslow and as such, we are only able to provide vouchers for those within these boroughs. All other boroughs & counties are still invited to attend free of charge.
As I’m sure you are all aware that there is an increasing number of suspected and confirmed cases of Covid-19 cross the country at the current time. However, since the start of this pandemic, we remain fully operational for the continued education of your young people and will continue to do so until/unless instructed otherwise by central government. My team and I continue to operate a very safe and learning environment in terms of compliance with all relevant legislation and guidance from both the Department for Education (DfE) and Public Health England (PHE) in terms of safeguarding, Health & Safety and particularly preventing the spread of coronavirus.
Green Corridor are proud to announce that we have been awarded Level 2 Disability Confident!
The Disability Confident Scheme is:
organisations playing a leading role in changing attitudes for the better. They’re changing behaviour and cultures in their own businesses, networks and communities, and reaping the benefits of inclusive recruitment practices.
The scheme helps employers recruit and retain great people, and:
draw from the widest possible pool of talent
secure high quality staff who are skilled, loyal and hard working
improve employee morale and commitment by demonstrating that you treat all employees fairly
It also helps customers and other businesses identify those employers who are committed to equality in the workplace.
Over half of workplaces are missing out because they are excluding disabled talent… But not Green Corridor!
We are proud to say we are an inclusive workplace who is ready to assist where we can for those with a disability or special needs.
