Horticulture, Catering and Functional Skills
Our Horticulture courses are for young people aged 16 - 25 who have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) or those who are in the process of getting one.
Our Horticulture courses are individualised for each learner based on the young person's needs. Young people can attend between 2 - 4 days a week which can also depend on what level course they will be registered for.
If you are aged 16 to 25, and you are not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET) and your looking for employment, then our courses could be for you! As a charity, we provide structured accredited courses in Hospitality and Catering, in small focused groups and with a one to one mentor. Through our employability workshops and ongoing support, you will build your confidence, communication skills and understanding of the working world.
All learners that come to us who have an Education Health Care Plan is given the option to complete courses in Functional Skills. Thanks to funding, we were able to take on a new Functional Skills Tutor who teaches our young people on site throughout the day.
