Residents turned out Tuesday 22nd March 2016 for our Manor Way site Community Open Day. Lively chat revolved around increasing local awareness of the site, and invitations were extended to attend local gardening groups as well as our local Southall Ward Forum meeting this month.
Other ideas discussed for improving the site focused on introducing more wildlife features, clearing remaining litter, and outreach to potential partners.
Work also resumed on hardening footpaths, and the second leg of our main pathways was successfully excavated for future brick laying.
After a large delivery of soil and materials, four newly built bed frames were filled with compost and are now ready for planting.
Wildflowers and root crops sown previously can now be seen sprouting!
