Success Stories
A few stories of our learners who have moved into a positive onward destination

Stuart
Stuart has been a learner at Green Corridor for just under 2 years now completing his Home Cooking Skills vocational qualification.
Stuart has had the support of his TA, class tutor and job coach who have organised and supporting him in his work placement in a local pub. He is taking orders, using the till, handling money and making the food!
He has now been offered paid part-time employment at the pub after he finishing his education at GC! Until then, he will continue his work-placement on Fridays.
What our parents say
"Time at this parent/carer coffee morning was well spent - a very informative session on the studies and various pathways after leaving Green Corridor."
-parent
"Cian feels that the green corridor is a happy place, with staff that work hard to do the best for the learners, he said he has made some great friendships and that he has been able to ask staff for help no matter what. He said his tutors have been brilliant and that all the staff are great. He said he now feels more confident to go to work and hopefully on to have a career working with SEN learners one day"

We've worked with..

"Green Corridor and Princes Trust Uxbridge College were able to collaborate successfully to secure a place for the opportunity for a young person to take part in a programme. Mandeep was able to support the process of the application through phone calls and online applications with her young person, as well as being supportive of the client needs and circumstances. We managed a successful partnership now he is currently working towards a qualification and to further his work experiences."

Careerometer
Careerometer can be used to explore and compare key information about occupations, help you learn about different occupations and identify potential careers.
It provides access to a selection of UK headline data relating to pay, weekly hours of work and future employment prospects for different occupations, as well as description of the occupation.
Simply type in the title of the job you are interested in and the widget provides a series of options from which you can select the most relevant to you. You can then look up another two occupations and compare. You can also select ‘display the UK average’ and compare the information with the occupation you have selected.
