A year-long course preparing young people for supported internships and employment.

About the Programme 

Our Pre-Supported Internship Programme builds the independence, confidence and practical skills young people need to succeed in the workplace. Through hands-on learning in real community settings, students develop essential abilities that will support their future career journey. 

 

What You'll Learn:

Travel Training 

Master independent travel using buses and trains. Build confidence navigating routes and using public transport. 

Work Readiness 

Develop workplace essentials including communication, timekeeping, professional behaviour and understanding employer expectations. 

Community Skills 

Gain confidence accessing local facilities, services and building social connections in your area. 

Independence 

Social Skills 

Strengthen communication and interpersonal abilities for workplace and social success. Build decision-making, problem-solving skills and the confidence to manage daily tasks. 

Practical Life Skills 

Learn money management, personal organisation and effective use of technology.

Duration: One academic year (September 2026 - July 2027)
