Exciting Changes Are Coming to Our Adult Social Hub

As our Adult Social Hub continues to grow, we're excited to announce that it's growing in more ways than one. Alongside moving into a brand-new dedicated space, we're also launching a fresh new identity.

Our Community Project is becoming The Clearing.

With a new name, a new logo and a new home, The Clearing reflects everything our social hub has become. A welcoming place where adults with special needs can connect, build confidence, learn new skills and thrive. Inspired by the idea of a woodland clearing, it's a space where people can come together, feel safe, and flourish.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be moving over the fence into our very own dedicated area, creating a welcoming environment designed specifically for our members. With our brand-new cabin arriving on 13th August, this marks an exciting new chapter for The Clearing and the opportunities it will bring.

Our new space has been designed with independence, creativity and connection in mind. The cabin will include a comfortable social area to relax and make friends, a fully equipped kitchen for cooking activities and life skills, and a dedicated creative space where members can enjoy arts, crafts and other hands-on projects. Outside, we'll also have a large outdoor area that can be used for gardening, games, social activities and enjoying the fresh air.

One of the most exciting parts of this move is that our members will help shape the space from the very beginning. Rather than simply moving into a finished building, they'll be involved in transforming it into somewhere that truly feels like their own. From decorating and organising the different areas to planting, furnishing and adding personal touches, they'll play an important role in creating a space they can be proud of.

The transformation has already begun, with the team hard at work clearing and preparing the area ready for the cabin's arrival. Over the coming weeks, we'll also be unveiling our new branding, with The Clearing's logo, signage and identity coming to life alongside the new space.

This dedicated home for The Clearing represents much more than a new building—it's a place where friendships will grow, confidence will flourish, independence will be encouraged and our members can continue to thrive in a safe, inclusive and supportive community.

We can't wait to share the progress over the coming weeks and officially welcome everyone to The Clearing.
