Green Corridor is proud to have a beautiful and thriving outdoors site, which plays a vital role in supporting our learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This outdoor space is more than just a setting - it’s a open space for our learners to grow, learn and have hands-on experiences that build confidence and independence.
As we prepared to welcome the new season, we were delighted to host one of our many volunteer groups - the fantastic teams from Stockley Park. As valued supporters of Green Corridor, their continued commitment makes a real difference to our learners and our environment. Alongside their volunteering, Stockley Park also provides traffic safety training for our learners, helping them build essential life skills and confidence.
During their visit, volunteers dedicated their time and energy to transforming our site for spring. Thanks to their incredible efforts, the space has been refreshed and revitalised. Fences have been newly painted, benches repaired, car parks cleared of weeds, and seeds planted ready to bloom in the months ahead. Their hard work has made a visible and lasting difference, creating an even more welcoming and inspiring environment for our learners.
Volunteer days like this go far beyond practical improvements. They show our learners the power of community, teamwork and kindness in action. Seeing professionals come together to support their space is both motivating and meaningful.
We are incredibly grateful not only to the volunteers themselves, but also to the businesses at Stockley Park that support and encourage their teams to give back. Your ongoing support helps us continue providing enriching, hands-on learning experiences for our learners.
Thank you for your time, your energy and your generosity.
